OneGoodHabit: Habit Tracker · Spriio Software Solutions · Last updated 20 October 2026
OneGoodHabit helps you build habits. It works without an account and keeps your habits on your phone. If you choose to use Friends, you sign in and share a small part of your progress with people you invite. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. This policy explains what that means.
Your habits stay on your phone
The habits you create, the days you mark done, your plans, reminders and settings are stored only on your device. We do not run servers that receive them, and we cannot see them. They are included in your phone’s own backup (Google backup on Android, iCloud backup on iPhone) if you have that turned on, under your account with Google or Apple.
Home-screen widget and reminders
The widget shows today’s habits from data the app saves on your device. Reminders are scheduled on your phone; they are not sent through any server.
Apple Health and Health Connect (optional)
If you set a habit to be tracked by Health, the app asks to read your steps, exercise minutes or sleep from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android). It reads only those, only for today (last night for sleep), and only to mark that habit done when you reach your goal. Your health data stays on your phone: it is never uploaded, shared, sold or used for ads. The app never writes to Health. You can turn access off at any time in Settings → Health (iPhone) or in Health Connect (Android).
Friends (optional)
Friends is optional; the rest of the app works without it. To use it you sign in with Google or Apple and choose a display name, a username and an emoji avatar. We store these with your account in Google Firebase (servers in India), together with:
- your email address from Google or Apple, used only to sign you in (Apple lets you hide it). Friends never see it;
- a user ID, and the circles you are in;
- for each circle, only the circle habits you join there: their names and icons, whether you did each today, the last 7 days, your streaks, and whether today’s tick was confirmed by Health (a yes/no; no health numbers are uploaded). Your other habits are never shared;
- a notification token for your phone, so friends’ cheers and nudges reach you; only our server can read it;
- cheers and nudges you send, and anyone you block or report.
Members of a circle can see each other’s name, username, avatar and shared progress. Reports are reviewed by us within 24 hours, and accounts that break the rules can be removed.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Me → Delete my account. This deletes your profile and username, removes you from every circle and deletes your sign-in account straight away. Your habits stay on your phone. You can also ask us to delete it at onegoodhabit.web.app/delete-account.html.
Purchases
OneGoodHabit Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, through RevenueCat, which records your purchase and whether Pro is active (linked to an anonymous ID, or to your Friends account if you’re signed in). The stores process the payment; we never see your payment details.
Ads
The free version shows a small banner ad on the Today screen and offers an optional video ad that earns a streak freeze. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google collects information from your device, such as its advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and how you interact with ads. Your habits are never shared with Google or any ad network.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- On iPhone, the app does not ask to track you and ads are not personalised with Apple’s advertising identifier.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s Google settings.
- OneGoodHabit Pro removes all ads.
How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
What we do not do
- No account is needed unless you use Friends.
- No analytics SDKs, and we never sell your data. Habits you don’t share stay only on your phone.
Export and deletion
Pro users can export their data from Settings. Deleting a habit removes its history from your phone; uninstalling the app removes all its data from the device.
Children
OneGoodHabit is for people aged 16 and over. Friends is not meant for children; if you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
